Josh Johnson, Director of Patient Financial Services, proposed the idea to purchase a larger, more accessible six-person golf cart for a better patient and guest experience. In October, the new cart arrived, ready to roll with more comfort and climate protection. Donor and Foundation support Johnson is grateful to the Foundation for providing the funds for this unique and very popular valet service: “We are able to offer more than 11,200 rides per year! Thank you to all who donate and support the Foundation to make services like this possible.” Curt Homann, Foundation Director; Greg Kurtenbach, Foundation Chairman; and the Foundation Board also expressed their appreciation to those who support the Foundation and Gibson Area Hospital. “Contributions from donors give us the means to purchase items such as the valet cart and help accomplish the hospital’s vision to be the model of excellence in community-based health care,” said Homann.
