Everyone on the healthcare staff from each department we encountered was absolutely terrific! I can’t imagine getting better care for myself or our little guy. Food Service and Housekeeping were also wonderful. I spent 10 years as a director of food services for hospitals and long-term care facilities, and I know how difficult their jobs can be. Dr. Lanoue is one of the best physicians I have ever had, and I’m so thankful to have him as the physician for my family. He was able to make me laugh and put me at ease even when we discovered that I was having some complications with my pregnancy. None of this great care happens for my family without the Gibson clinics in Watseka and Hoopeston. Our family lives over an hour from Gibson Area Hospital, but we chose Gibson knowing that we would be able to do all of the maternity appointments at Watseka or Hoopeston (both are about 25 minutes from our home). The staff in Watseka and Hoopeston are terrific, and it was wonderful to have them as part of my maternity journey. They make it easy to want to be a Gibson patient.
