Other uses include treatment of internal bleeding with embolization of small blood vessels. Diseases of the liver and bile ducts, as well as the kidneys and ureters, can also be treated with the aid of this advanced imaging technology. The equipment represents the latest in state-of-the-art medical imaging. All digital imaging used by this computerized technology means greater patient safety due to reduced dose of radiation during procedures. Additionally, the high-quality images produced by this equipment means shorter procedure times and greater accuracy when performing procedures.
